Our hold cleaning service offers a specialized and trailblazing new innovative approach for thorough hold cleaning at un-accessible areas, utilizing certified rope access personnel. Rope access cleaning ensures safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations with minimal disruption. Costs are kept to a minimum – there’s no need for cradle equipment or scaffolding, cherry pickers and can be easily carried out while vessel is en-route and on the passage to load port.

Service Overview:

Our team of trained professionals  specialize in chemical washing, dry washing, and high-pressure jet washing for hold cleaning operations from any dirty dry bulk cargo to any grain clean standards. We also ensure that this is an end to end service which includes the pre-inspection, passage cleaning + advisory and the post cleaning survey and inspections. Our team has access to the required industry accredited surveys that need to be passed at load ports in countries like USA and Australia. The passing of holds comes with its own set of challenges and we have included the caveat “There is never a “No Cure No Pay concept” and we strive to ensure the best results for the client and will leave no stone unturned to achieve the desired outcome.

Types of Cleaning Services Offered:

  1. Chemical Cleaning: Application of acid or alkaline cleaners for tough residues/stains.
  2. High-Pressure Jet Washing: Up to 300 bar for effective residue removal and at close range.
  3. Dry Washing: Suited for sensitive cargoe(s) requiring minimal water usage but still a dirty cargo.

Assistance and Training:

  1. Ships crew support and participation required at every stage for optimum efficiency and a good outcome.
  2. Advisory services for maintaining cargo hold standards during cleaning operations.

Hold Cleaning time frame:

  1. We expect to clean to fertilizer standards in about 5 days without any major interruptions or weather constraints.

Service Timeline & Conditions :

  • Notice Period: Minimum 7days for mobilization (depending on the travel country).
  • Operation Duration: Estimated 6-7 days per project (Depending on vessel size and weather conditions), Personnel travel time to be included.
  • Client Responsibility:
    • Storage/disposal of wash water (But can be arranged if required and if possible at the port of call).
    • Tools, equipment, or chemicals not provided by the cleaning team.
    • Local permits and port clearances, if needed.
